چکیده
Abstract Background Atrioventricular (AV) delay could affect AV and ventricular synchrony in cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). Strategies to optimize according optimal (AV opt-AV ) or opt-V would potentially be discordant. This study aimed explore a new optimization algorithm guided by electrograms obtain the maximum integrative effects of (opt-AV). Methods Forty-nine patients with CRT were enrolled. was measured through Ritter method. obtained yielding narrowest QRS. The considered when their difference < 20 ms, maximal aortic velocity–time integral between > ms. Results results showed that sensing/pacing (SAV /PAV correlated atrial activation time (P end-As /P end-Ap ( P 0.05). Sensing/pacing intrinsic conduction (As-Vs/Ap-Vs) 0.01). percentages more than ms differences SAV 62.9% 57.1%, respectively. Among them, linearly opt-V. sensing (opt-SAV) = 0.1 × + 0.4 70 (R 2 0.665, 0.01) pacing (opt-PAV) 0.25 PAV 0.5 30 0.560, Conclusion interval Almost half had . estimated based on electrogram parameters.

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

in the area of automotive engineering there is a tendency to more electrification of power train. in this work control of an induction machine for the application of electric vehicle is investigated. through the changing operating point of the machine, adapting the rotor magnetization current seems to be useful to increase the machines efficiency. in the literature there are many approaches wh...
15 صفحه اولRate-dependent AV delay optimization in cardiac resynchronization therapy.
BACKGROUND During cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), cardiac performance is dependent on an optimized atrioventricular delay (AVD). However, the optimal AVD at different heart rates has not been defined yet during CRT. METHOD The effects of an increase in heart rate by pacing or physical exercise on optimal AVD were studied in 36 patients with biventricular pacemakers/defibrillators. Th...

BACKGROUND one variable that may influence cardiac resynchronization therapy response is the programmed atrioventricular (AV) delay. The SmartDelay determined av optimization: a comparison to other AV delay methods used in cardiac resynchronization therapy (SMART-AV) trial prospectively randomized patients to a fixed empirical AV delay (120 milliseconds), echocardiographically optimized AV dela...
متن کاملCardiac resynchronization therapy: mechanisms of action and scope for further improvement in cardiac function
Aims Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) may exert its beneficial haemodynamic effect by improving ventricular synchrony and improving atrioventricular (AV) timing. The aim of this study was to establish the relative importance of the mechanisms through which CRT improves cardiac function and explore the potential for additional improvements with improved ventricular resynchronization. Me...
